• Conflicts - Instead of developing a cumbersome explanation of conflicts of interests, we avoid them.
• Confidentiality - despite our commitment to transparency, we value your right to privacy, and also will limit pertinent investment strategies and holdings to non-clients.

Investment - we refrain from the "All things to all people" mentality

• Time frame - our approach usually involves establishing longer-term holdings but we will keep a flexible mindset to take advantage of short term opportunities if presented.

• Contrarian style - we are continually trying to assess the consensus, and when it makes sense to have the courage to act in deference to it, even though we understand this approach will lead to potential missteps at times.
