About Heart Capital

Heart Capital LLC was founded in 2004 by Ross Heart, a veteran of the securities industry for nearly twenty years, who has maintained a continuous involvement in handling investment accounts and relationships dating back to 1993.

With degrees in Economics and Finance, Heart traveled to Detroit, Michigan to get his start in the securities business with a regional firm. A six-year stint with Merrill Lynch followed, and he was later hired by a leading community-owned banking institution in the Duluth / Superior market, with the responsibility of developing a brokerage department. After managing a successful operation in that role, the ultimate goal of running one's own practice proved too appealing.

Grounded in small town and Midwest values, Ross has been active in local community organizations, including serving on the board of directors at the University of Wisconsin - Superior. He also has penned an ongoing column providing commentary for an area newspaper.

Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota provide a great setting for Ross to go fishing, hunting, snowshoeing, camping, birding, hiking, or spending family time playing some shinny on the neighborhood hockey rink.
